Wildlife Careers Taster Programme
Tuesdays in August. 9am-3pm.
Spend a day working alongside our experienced team, developing key
skills and exploring careers in the wildlife and environmental sectors.
WHAT’S INVOLVED?
🐾 Clean small animal habitats and their surrounding areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the animals.
🐾 Keep the environment tidy, which is crucial for both the animals and guest visitors. Help our with gardening tasks, which can be both therapeutic and educational.
🐾 Develop customer service skills, interacting with guests and enhancing their experience.
🐾 Improve communication skills, working as part of a team and engaging with the public.
🐾 This is a hands-on, outdoor experience – perfect for building resilience, responsibility, and real-world skills!
WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
The Wildlife Careers Taster program is ideal for young people aged 14–16 who are interested in animals, conservation, and learning more about careers in wildlife and environmental fields.
It’s perfect for those who enjoy being outdoors, working as part of a team, and want a hands-on introduction to animal care and park operations.
