Some useful info about the facilities at West Midlands Safari Park is listed below; 

 

Wheelchairs, Mobility Scooters and Pushchairs
We have both manual wheelchairs and a limited number of mobility scooters available to hire. They can be hired online in advance by clicking here. There is a non-refundable hire charge for 1 day, please see prices below. There is a maximum weight limit of 21 stone for manual wheelchairs and 28 stone for ECVS which cannot be exceeded.  

  • Manual Wheelchairs - £10 (Maximum weight limit: 21 stone)
  • Mobility Scooters (ECVS) - £25 – (Maximum weight limit: 28 stone) The operator who will be using the scooter must be present to sign and collect.  

We also have pushchairs available for hire with the following options:

  • Single Pushchair - £8 (Maximum weight: 4 stone. Children must be able to sit up unaided. Not suitable for infants).
  • Double Pushchair - £12 (Maximum weight: 7 stone combined. Children must be able to sit up unaided. Not suitable for infants).

The collection point is Main Reception and all equipment must be returned 30 minutes before the Park closes. You will be required to sign the Hire Agreement on arrival in order to receive the hired equipment. Booking is subject to availability.

Baby Changing & Adult Changing
All toilet blocks have disabled and baby changing facilities. Adult changing facilities are available in the main car park toilet block. This is a 12m² Changing Places approved, Adult Changing Room with an adjustable changing table, WC and fixed washbasin.
Unfortunately, there is no shower facility. The room is fitted with an XY track system and powered hoist with a Standard 2 point spreader bar – no harnesses are provided.
This facility will require a RADAR key.

First Aid
Our first aid station is located near the entrance to the walk-through areas.

Lost Property
Misplaced your property? It may have already been handed into Main Reception, so be sure to check in with the team before you leave the Park. If you have left the Park, please email info@wmsp.co.uk with a description of your item.

Cash points
There is one cash machine outside our Dino Diner restaurant. It charges a small amount for withdrawals.

Lost Children
If you have lost your child while visiting the Park, please speak to the nearest member of staff who will be able to assist and put a radio call out to the wider team. 

Water Refill
We do not have any water refill stations, however, we can refill your water bottle if you bring it to one of our kiosks or restaurants in the park: Dino Diner, Wild Bites (Theme Park), Amigos (Safari Walk entrance), Volcano Kiosk (Theme Park), Ocean Kiosk (Theme Park), Discovery Kiosk (Opposite Lorikeet Landing).
