PLAN YOUR FESTIVE DAY
Here’s a suggested itinerary to help you make the most of your Santa Safari adventure and Christmas Panto at West Midlands Safari Park!
10:00 - SAFARI DRIVE ADVENTURE
Start your festive day with a journey around our Safari Drive! This four-mile route takes you past majestic lions, towering giraffes, powerful rhinos, inquisitive wild dogs, graceful zebras and more, all from the warmth and comfort of your own car.
On busier days, it can take over 2 hours to drive around the Safari.
12:30 - MEET SANTA IN HIS GROTTO
Time to meet the big man himself! Stroll through our snowy winter wonderland to the grotto, where a cheerful Elf will guide you on a magical North Pole adventure. Take a flight in Santa’s enchanted elevator, then ring the bell to meet Santa, share your wishes, and snap a festive photo. Afterwards, collect your picture and let children pick their very own gift in the Elves’ Workshop.
1:00 - GET CRAFTY
Head over to Mrs Claus' Crafts to make some reindeer food and write a letter to Santa to post in the magic postbox!
1:30 - PICK UP A FESTIVE TREAT
Stop by one of our festive food outlets to enjoy your included festive cookie and drink, perfect for recharging after your North Pole adventure! Ready for a full meal? Head to Dino Diner for a delicious lunch in a cosy, festive setting.
2:30 - SAFARI WALK & ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS
Continue your adventure outdoors on the Safari Walk. Follow the African Walking Trail see giraffes, rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, white lions and Sumatran tigers up close. Don’t miss a visit to African Village, home to cheeky meerkats and free-roaming lemurs. Stop by Explorers’ Play Park too, where kids can blow off some steam in the playground or on the running track!
4:00- TAKE YOUR SEATS FOR THE CHRISTMAS PANTO
End your magical day with festive fun for all ages at our Christmas Pantomime! Head to Treetops Pavilion and take your seats for a performance of Aladdin, running exclusively from 20th–23rd December 2025. Doors open at 3:30pm – don’t be late! (Doors close 10 minutes before show time)
4:45 - HOME TIME!
After a full day of festive fun, it’s time to head home with memories (and photos!) to treasure.
