A Wild Easter Awaits as Native Nature Takes Centre Stage

Families are invited to celebrate the wonders of British wildlife this Easter, as we will be hosting a nature-inspired event, packed with interactive activities, live entertainment and brand-new characters.

Running from 28 March to 12 April 2026, guests can take part in the celebrations, which include an egg hunt trail, competitions, a new show and a chance to get creative with some Easter arts and crafts.

Taking the spotlight this year are new characters, Petal and Professor Pollen – a spectacular stilt walking butterfly and entertaining entomologist (insect expert), who has some tricks of his own up his sleeve.

The duo will be roaming the Discovery Trail at intervals during the day, which is where guests can also meet and have a photo taken with popular character Chirpy Chick, who ‘hatched’ last year.

This year, the event is centred around native species and our conservation team will be championing all the animals that call the UK home.

Guests can learn what they can do to help wildlife in their own gardens and they can also record what native species they see during their visit, by downloading the ‘iNaturalist’ or ‘Seek‘ app.

PR & Events Executive, Bethan Davis, said, “With spring in the air, Easter is a fantastic time for families to reconnect with nature, and this year we wanted to shine a spotlight on the incredible native species found right here in the UK. Through our new characters and interactive activities, we’re bringing these often-overlooked creatures to life in a fun, engaging way that we hope will inspire guests to appreciate and protect wildlife on their own doorstep.”

Children will be able to win chocolate or a sweet treat by taking part in the Eggsplorers’ Trail, by following clues, finding the bug-themed eggs and answering questions at each point.

There is a photo competition, where guests can win four Gold Annual Passes, if they find the butterfly photo point, take a picture and post it on their socials, tagging us in.

In the Discovery Trail, guests will find a huge egg, filled with smaller eggs. If they can guess how many eggs it contains, they can enter the competition to win a Giraffe or Rhino Safari Lodges stay.

Bramble Bunny and his friend will be making a return in a brand-new show, bursting with magic, fun and games, plus plenty of audience participation.

The Easter Craft Club will also be returning, based in Bramble’s Burrow, where guests can take part in some nature-themed arts and crafts.

During the event, the Park will be decorated with bright and colourful Easter theming, including giant eggs, hay bales, floral displays and photo points.

There is also the chance to see our newest arrivals – giraffe calves Namara and Olive and male camel Jochi, as they explore their habitats on the Safari-Drive.

The Easter activities are included in the admission charge and guests are encouraged to book online in advance for the best prices.
