Terms and Conditions of Entry
In these terms “West Midland Safari and Leisure Park” shall mean West Midland Safari Park Limited, a company registered in England number: 06449517.
It is a condition of entry that the West Midland Safari and Leisure Park Terms and Conditions of Entry have been understood, accepted and are adhered to – failure to do so may result in non-admission or ejection from the Park.
West Midland Safari and Leisure Park reserves the right to amend and/or alter the conditions of issue associated with the entrance to the Park without any prior notification.
Entry prices are in accordance with those displayed at the point of entry and will be charged per person. West Midland Safari Park operates a policy of no refunds. Tickets, once purchased and/or booked, are non-transferable and non-amendable. We regret that we do not accept AMEX online or at the park. (American Express)
Time slots for the safari drive-through must be selected at the point of booking during our summer season*, the 30-minute time slots must be strictly adhered to. WMSP cannot guarantee entry should you arrive after your time slot window. Your admission ticket includes access to the drive-through once, during your allocated time slot. *Our summer season is from mid-February until early November, dates vary each year.
The drive-through and park closing times are given on our online park calendar, guests must arrive with plenty of time before closing. Any guests arriving after the closing hours for the drive-through and/or park, will not be allowed entry and refunds will not be considered.
At all times please ensure that you obey the safety regulations and signage displayed throughout the Park.
West Midland Safari and Leisure Park accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by guests as a result of the guest’s failure to comply with these entry conditions or any event outside its control. This also includes damage to a guest’s vehicle by the animals and electric gates. This does not affect any guest’s statutory rights or any liability of WMSP which cannot be excluded by law.
It must be understood that due to operational, technical, weather-related or other reasons beyond our control, any attraction may have to be closed, removed, altered in type or otherwise be unavailable at any time, without prior notice.
No child or children under the age of 12 will be admitted to the Park unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult who shall be 18 years or older and such child or children whilst on site must remain under the control or supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
If at any time a guest’s standard of behaviour falls below that expected by the Park, the individual may be asked to leave the Park and no refunds will be considered concerning any purchase that may have been made; whilst not an exhaustive list this would include admission charge and wristband/ride tickets. This is without prejudice to any claim that West Midland Safari & Leisure Park may have against such a person or persons arising out of their actions.
West Midland Safari & Leisure Park will not, under any circumstances, tolerate threatening or abusive behaviour towards any member of staff or fellow guests.
Soft-top cars are not permitted through the Carnivore section of the reserve and must follow the bypass signage. All soft and hard-topped cars must have their roof up in all areas of the reserve. Three-wheelers, motorbikes and non-secure uncovered 4 wheel vehicles (Quadbikes or similar) are not permitted through the safari drive-through. In addition to this, ladders, trailers and any bikes attached to the vehicle must be removed before entering. Externally mounted items such as spare wheels/wheel covers should also be removed to prevent damage.
Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. WMSP takes no responsibility for damage caused to any vehicle using the car park and no guarantee is given as to the security of guest’s vehicles in the car park or any contents.
For assistance dogs, please see our Accessibility Page here for more information. No other dogs/pets are allowed on our premises, you will need to leave your dog/pets/emotional support animals at home.
You are permitted to take photographs and recordings within the Park provided that these are solely for private use and not for any commercial purpose. You acknowledge that the Park may on occasion have the right to access any photographs taken and video footage captured by you and request that any such photographs and/or footage are deleted if they are deemed to be offensive or to infringe the privacy of other guests or staff. You agree not to intentionally photograph or capture video footage of any individual without that person’s permission. You agree that the Park may carry out photography and/or video recording in the Park and you agree that the Park may use any such images in perpetuity in any promotion, advertising or publicity material. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with the Park or any person authorised by it to take such photographs and/or video (as the case maybe).
CCTV cameras are used to assist in the proper running of the Park. However, we do not make any representations as to the extent of coverage provided by the cameras. All items, belongings, and other property brought into the Park by guests are at their own risk and WMSP accepts no liability for any loss or damage to such property. As such, we recommend that guests do not bring valuables to the Park.
Height, weight, age or medical restrictions may apply to rides or certain elements of the attractions at the Park. Certain rides or shows may use lighting effects, strobe lighting or flashing lights.
West Midland Safari & Leisure Park accepts no responsibility for any distress, inconvenience or anxiety caused during the course of any ride undertaken and/or during evacuation from such a ride in the event of breakdown.
West Midland Safari and Leisure Park’s decision on all matters relating to admission to the Safari Park and/or to these conditions shall be final and no further correspondence will be entered in to. These Terms of entry and all other terms and conditions published by West Midland Safari and Leisure Park shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.

If you have submitted your data, you may from time to time receive marketing emails, texts or direct mail enabling you to keep up to date with offers and events run by West Midland Safari Park Limited and its associated companies. Booking Tickets Online
Every effort is made to maintain your confidentiality when securing an online payment. This includes the confidentiality of your card details and other personal information.
The information contained on our website and booking system is believed to be correct. However, we are unable to accept responsibility for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to change our prices without prior notice.
Booking tickets online is an ideal way to save money on admission, ride wristbands or special events. Please note the following constraints for the purchase of online tickets. By purchasing online tickets you will be required to understand and agree to these terms and conditions and any T&C’s pertaining to the ticket type purchased.
Please be advised that all promotions and discounts hold their own individual terms and conditions and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
Our dynamic ticket system allows guests booking online the best prices in advance. Prices will vary, with all offers ending at midnight before the visit date, guests will then be subject to our on the day full prices. Once purchased, no refunds for a difference in price will be considered.
Concessionary prices are available for over 65s.
Children under the age of 3 will be admitted free of charge (a ticket reservation can be made when making a booking online).
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
West Midland Safari Park operates a policy of no refunds.
Tickets, once purchased and/or booked, are non-transferable and non-amendable. Date changes are possible in exceptional circumstances, which our team will review on a case-by-case basis, all agreed date changes will be subject to an amendment fee.
Guests who require additional assistance to visit us need to apply online through out partner, Nimbus Disability, at least 10 working days in advance of visits. Applications within 10 working days are possible however it will give the team significantly less time to process and we cannot guarantee you will receive an answer in time.
Applications are free of charge for guests who only wish to register their need to visit West Midland Safari Park. Your application, if approved, will be valid for 3 years. On each visit you will need to provide your application details to the Ticket Office on arrival to collect an essential companion ticket.
You will also have the option to upgrade to a full Access Card at a cost of £15. Access Cards are valid for 3 years and are widely accepted across thousands of locations across the UK and beyond, including many other amusement parks and leisure attractions who offer similar assistance.
Once your application has been approved by Nimbus, you will be issued with a confirmation email of your WMSP request (or a physical Access Card if you have upgraded to this). You will need to bring either your confirmation details or your Access Card with you on the day, to present to the cashier at the Ticket Kiosk. You will need to be accompanied by the guest you plan to have as your essential companion. Our staff will then look up your application, verify your identity and check the access symbols assigned and will be able to issue you with an Essential Companion Ticket to access the park, if you have been approved with the appropriate +1/+2/+3 symbols.
You will be able to show your essential companion admission ticket again at the Wristband Office to pick up a free essential companion wristband, providing you have paid for a wristband for yourself, and they will be assisting you on a 1:1 basis.
Failure to produce the appropriate documentation on arrival to the Park will result in guests needing to pay an admission fee at the gate. No exceptions or refunds will be considered.
Visually impaired guests are permitted free of charge together with a seeing guide accompany them. You will need to show your CVI (Certificate of Visual Impairment) or similar council issued ID at the Ticket Office to collect your admission ticket and essential companion ticket. You will be entitled to a free essential companion wristband provided you have purchased your own band for the rides, your admission ticket & CVI must be shown at the wristband office.
Retail Online Shop
In addition to your legal rights, should you change your mind, you can cancel your order and receive a refund if you notify us as set out below within 14 days of receiving the goods.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected the returned items and let you know if the return has been accepted. If approved, you will automatically be refunded using your original payment method. Please note refunds will take 7-10 days to be processed.
- Please check your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item. We will aim to correct this as soon as possible.

Delivery:
- Orders will be sent within 5 days of receiving your order, this may be extended during busy periods.
- You will receive an email when the items have been dispatched to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
- Delivery will be 3-5 days from dispatch. We do not use order tracking on any orders.
- Orders can only be dispatched to the United Kingdom, any orders outside of the United Kingdom will be cancelled.
