West Midland Safari and Leisure Park supports numerous conservation projects in the wild (in-situ), via its conservation fund PAWS (Preservation of African Wildlife and Science). PAWS was established in 2006 to financially support projects that work towards the conservation of African wildlife.  EAZA 2007-2008 Year of the Frog Campaign
The 2007-2008 European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) campaign is supporting a global conservation campaign to save amphibians from extinction. There are 3 groups of amphibians: 1) frogs and toads 2) newts and salamanders 3) Caecilians; totalling 6,200 species.
