Please Note: African Village & Lemur Woods are closed during the Winter Season.

Believed to be the largest walk-through lemur wood in the UK, with 3 species of lemur living, playing and swinging around you as you take a stroll through the mature woodland.

Keep an eye out for our playful ring-tailed lemurs, small white-fronted brown lemurs, & fluffy red-bellied lemurs.

Don’t forget to watch our Summer Season daily Lemur Talks where you can watch the keepers feed the lemurs and learn more about these fascinating animals.

Area also includes...

Interactive African Village with walk-through area where you can feed our friendly Somali sheep, pygmy goats or Cameroon sheep.
