Are you on the lookout for some great value days out with the kids?
West Midland Safari & Leisure Park is an Award Winning Family Attraction, which really is the perfect kid’s day out in Worcestershire.
It combines a four-mile self-drive Safari Park with Discovery Trail, live shows, African Village and Theme Park. And, with so many things to do, the free return ticket really does make for some fantastic family days out.
As one of the top family attractions in the country, a day out to West Midland Safari Park is packed with great activities and hundreds of magical animal encounters that are included in the standard admission charge.
The wonderful self-drive safari experience covering 150 acres and 4 miles features some of the greatest species known to man, including two UK exclusives - the largest pride of stunning White Lions and the largest group of Cheetah. Plus there’s Rhino, White Tigers, Giraffe and Elephants to name just a few. And, to make this even better value, there’s no limit on how many times families can drive around in a day!
Discovery Trail just adds to the fun day out and is where the New Penguin Cove exhibit can be found. There’s a great chance to see our delightful Humboldt Penguins make their summertime debut in this lovely new exhibit that incorporates a semi-submerged beach, waterfall and great underwater viewing opportunities for visitors.
Mark O’Shea’s Reptile World is home to all kinds of snakes and other reptiles from around the globe, whilst Creepy Crawlies, Seaquarium and Twilight Cave offers the chance to peer into the darkness and to see creatures that simply prefer it that way. That can’t be said of the Sea Lions at the Sea Lion Theatre! The show lasts for about 15 minutes and is a must during a family day out with the kids.
So, if you’re already thinking that this is a great value day out – there’s even more included in the admission charge to add to this already fantastic day out with the kids.
There’s an African Village to add to the delights with all kinds of animal encounters that includes seeing the adorable little meerkats in Meerkat Mayhem and meeting the lovely Lemurs in “Walking with Lemurs” – the largest lemur walk-through in the whole of the UK. What’s more, special diet animal food can be bought for an extra charge to feed some of the friendly sheep and goats that have their home in the Village. There’s even a Safari Express train ride that runs between the main car park and theme park, that’s included as part of the admission charge.
So that sums up what is included in the standard admission charge and we’re quite sure you will agree that it already stacks up to be a great value day out.
Theme Park, which is situated at the lakeside, is packed with some great family attractions including two water rides, namely the Zambezi Water Splash and Wild River Rapids. Others include Venom, The Black Fly, Rhino Rollercoaster and Twister. Theme park rides are charged extra in all cases.
