DIRECTIONS & MAP...

West Midland Safari Park, Spring Grove, Bewdley, Worcestershire, DY12 1LF.

From Birmingham:
Take the main Hagley Road to the Quinton Expressway A456 through Hagley and Blakedown following Safari Park signs through Kidderminster to Bewdley.

From Wolverhampton: Take the A449 to Kidderminster. Take the A456 to Bewdley.

From the North (Liverpool/Manchester): Take the M6 South, leave on exit 8 and join the M5. Take the M5 to exit 3 and follow the A456 through Kidderminster to Bewdley.

From the South (Bristol): Take the M5 North, leave on exit 6 and follow the A449 to Kidderminster. Take the A456 to Bewdley.

GUEST SERVICES...

Toilets
Toilets are located in the Main Car Park; Discovery Trail; Amusement Area and within the Explorers Café.
Please note that there are no toilets in the animal reserves. The journey around the reserves usually takes around one hour and fifteen minutes – though this can increase significantly during busy times.

Baby Changing Facilities
Available in Main Car Park Toilet Block and Amusement Area Toilet Block.

Credit Cards/Cash Machines
Most major credit cards are accepted at a variety of locations throughout the Park - this includes on arrival to pay for admission and in the Amusement Area to pay for wristbands.
For your added convenience, cash machines are located in the wall outside the Explorer's cafe - opposite the Reptile House, and outside the Arcade in the amusement area.

Dog Kennels
We regret that dogs are not allowed inside the Park. Dog kennels are available. A lock can be collected from Main Reception for a £5.00 refundable deposit. Dogs need to remain in kennels for the duration of your visit.
Kindly Note: Our kennels simply provide basic accommodation for your pet whilst you are visiting. Whilst drinking water is available, we regret we do not provide water bowls or pet blankets. Please feel free to bring along any items that you consider would make your pet feel more comfortable.

Lost And Found
Please make enquires at Main Reception located at the Park Entrance.

Missing Persons / Lost Children
If any children become separated from their group / party, then our lost children point is the First Aid Hut which is located near to the Explorers Cafe, OR our reception area which is located at the main entrance.
Anyone who has realised that a member of their party has been separated from them should report it immediately to a member of staff who will inform their supervisor / Manager to alert all Managers on the park to be aware of the missing person.

Readmission Policy
If you need to leave the Park and plan to return within a short space of time, please visit Main Reception when you exit.

Guided Tours
Guided tours by Safari Bus may be booked at Main Reception at an extra £4.25 per person. (limited availability)
Please Note: a restricted service may operate during school term time. If you are making a special journey, please telephone prior to your visit to avoid any disappointment.

First Aid Centre
Located between Discovery Trail and the Amusement Area. Kindly note: First Aid Staff are unable to dispense pills, potions or sprays. Limited stocks are available for purchase at African Queen Trading and African Trading Company.

Camera Film
Camera film and instant cameras are available for purchase from all retail outlets around the park.

Wheelchair Hire
Wheelchairs are available from Reception (we require either car keys or driving license as a deposit).
To reserve a wheelchair for a particular date telephone WMSP on 01299 402114.
To collect the wheelchair please report to Reception on the day.
If you are unable to ring in advance, it may be possible to secure a wheelchair on the day at Reception, however availablility is limited.


SAFETY REGULATIONS...

Animal Reserves
• Do not open doors, windows or sun roof when in the Wolf, Lion, Tiger,
Cheetah and Wild Dog Reserves or when near a camel.
• It is forbidden for anyone to leave their vehicle ANYWHERE in the
animal reserves.
• If you require help sound your horn, switch on your hazard lights and await the patrol vehicle.
• All Vehicle/Coach evacuations must be supervised by a Warden.
• Certain vehicles cannot be admitted to the drive-through Wolf, Lion, Tiger,
Cheetah and Wild Dog Reserves, for example: convertibles or 3 wheelers.
• Externally mounted items such as spare wheels and wheel covers should be removed to prevent damage by Lions and Wild Dogs.

Animal Feeding
• Do not allow animals to put their head inside your vehicle.
• To prevent an animal putting its head inside your vehicle, keep windows half up.
• When feeding our special diet animal food, hold your hand outside the vehicle
and feed at arms length.
• If you should wish to stop feeding for any reason, turn your hand and drop the
feed onto the roadway/grass. Move your hand to the side of your vehicle,
before bringing it back inside through your window.
• Close the window to 3/4 up if an animal attempts to put its head inside your
vehicle.
After feeding any of our animals always remember to use handwipes provided and wash your hands at one of the rest rooms on the park before eating or drinking.

If you are unsure about anything, please ask.

West Midland Safari & Leisure Park accepts no responsibility for damage to persons or property by the animals.

Electric Gates
When driving within the reserves you will find the following instructions displayed at each of the electric gates:

WARNING : KEEP CLEAR OF ELECTRIC GATES

1. If red light shows, do not enter the yellow box.
2. Keep the yellow box clear at all times.
3. Do not enter the yellow box unless you are able to exit.

You must ensure compliance with these instructions at all times.

Under no circumstances will West Midland Safari Park accept responsibility for damage caused to any vehicle entering or exiting the electric gates!


SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS...

Rides And Amusements
(Rides are charged extra.)
Obey all signs and safety warnings. Ensure children are supervised at all times. Please note the Wristband Office will close one hour before the rides are due to close; once a wristband has been purchased no refunds will be considered; likewise ride tickets. Rides are subject to height restrictions and careful consideration should be given to any such limitations prior to the purchase of a wristband.

For your safety
Please remain seated with hands, arms, feet and legs inside the vehicle. You should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by the adventure of certain amusement rides. Expectant mothers should not ride. Proper clothing, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Visitors are informed that for operational, technical or other reasons, any attraction may have to be closed, removed, altered in type or otherwise be unavailable at any time.

Wheelchair Access
Is available throughout the majority of the park, including toilets, shops, shows and cafeterias.

Bikes, Scooters and other Wheeled transport
Please note that for safety reasons these vehicles are not allowed in any public areas at West Midland Safari Park.
