Coronavirus Guest Information

Update: Thursday 19th March 2020

Due to the fast-developing Coronavirus situation across the UK, West Midland Safari Park will temporarily close from today (19 March) until further notice.

This decision has not been easy, but we feel it is both necessary and sensible for the safety and wellbeing of our guests, staff and animals.

We’d like to thank our guests for their support in what is a challenging time and we look forward to welcoming everyone back soon.

Please see our Frequently Asked Questions at the bottom of this page for more guidance and to help with any enquiries you may have.

Frequently Asked Questions – Coronavirus

We are uncertain at this time but will continue to follow Government and Public Health England advice. Please keep checking our website and social media for further updates.

Your ticket will still be valid for our 2020 Summer Season which is up to 6th November 2020. As soon as we know our re-open date, we will contact you with further information on how to change your date.

First and foremost, closing the Park will help us to protect our staff and allow them to continue their work in looking after our animals. Despite the Park being closed, our animals will continue to receive the care and attention they need.

Our animals are precious and at the heart of everything we do. Our wildlife team will continue to ensure they receive the levels of care and attention they need.

Currently, we have no plans to open the Safari Drive-through during this period of closure. We will continue to keep guests updated.

Ticket sales for all upcoming future dates have been temporarily halted.
Please check our social media pages and website for any updates on when our booking system will re-open.

Sadly, we are likely to be closed during the Easter holidays.

Our plan is to extend all pass holders by the amount of time the Park is closed. We will contact pass holders directly with more information.

Guests will be able to change the date of their VIP Experience.

Please contact a member of the team on experiences@wmsp.co.uk

Our Free Return Tickets are valid until the 6th November 2020, so we are hoping guests will still have plenty of time to take advantage of this offer.
